Nottingham regional final results

Results have come in from the Nottingham regional finals. Briefly, the winners were:

1st, Rob Wood, The Kenilworth
2nd, Christian Tirel, Brass Monkey
3rd, Sammy Nissan, The Victoria

Lots of ingredients was the definite theme of our last Cocktail World Cup regional final, this delivered some interesting flavours and great drinks. A large number of bartenders made an impressive debut to cocktail competitions impressing the judges with their flair and drink creation. The judges were excited by the playful juxtaposition of the signature and honest drink rounds.

Nottingham marked the final UK regional competition for the 2010 competition. The selected now enter a furious few months sharpening their skills, planning and practicing their drinks to enter the national finals in early 2010. Of course the lucky few selected at the national finals will compete in the grand final in New Zealand in March 2010.
